Great work!

This is a great contribution, it was funny and original and the graphics look very good. It shows that you focused on the animation, which works very well in most cases. Too bad you didn't have any 'original' sound effects (as in you had to get them from other sites). The pace of the story could be a little faster too, but all in all I loved it! Don't listen to the people who blam this one without a reason, because it really is a solid contribution to this site. Keep up the good work!

Original stuff...

I hadn't seen anything like this before, I liked it. Although it isn't a Flash masterpiece technically, it looks like it took quite some work to set all of those action figures up. The interface could use some work though, it looks a little messy, but it's the idea that makes it work. And I noticed you have TWO Rancor Monsters! Most people don't even find ONE Rancor Monster, let alone TWO! :)~

Nice job!

A very nice movie and it was funny too. One little remark, the different drawing styles you used don't really match to each other all the time, but apart from that it's a winner! Keep up the good work!

Ever heard of vectors?

The idea may be somewhat original, but why use slightly modified screenshots to visualize it? You should have tried animating it with vectors, because it's not interesting to look at transitions between bitmap images at all. You need to dive into the way Flash works I think and then maybe your work will be better in the future. Good luck anyway :)

CheatWorld responds:

Yeah I know what you mean. But what it is, its because I used Swish, so I can't do vectors. You can only do that in Macromedia Flash, and I don't use that to make it. But thanks for the advice. I think I will try and learn how to make Macromedia Flash.

More of the same

Although the animations are nicely in sync with the music I find movies like this one not interesting at all. We've seen it before, and we've seen it much better than this. There's no trick to importing random bitmaps and animated gifs and make them move to the music.

Little gem

Although the 'story' is a little odd, the design looks nice and slick and the animations are fluid too. I only thought the boy was a girl, but that's probably me, good work!

That was very good!

This was a good mix and a funny approach of those 3 video games. Moreover because you managed to keep the animation in the classical style (except for the summersaults and the dropping zombies :)) The little note from Thomas that Sweden rules adds to the charm too :) Overall nice work, I'd like to see a third part in these series!

That was gruesome...but I kinda liked it :)

Graphics were great, a little too gruesome to the end in my opinion, could've had a more funny twist, but nevertheless no doubt this is appropriate Newgrounds material, which will probably end somewhere in the Top 50. Should've been submitted in another part of the year, but I still have to thank you for sharing it with us, keep up the good work! ;)

Short and sweet...

You don't give a hoot? It actually was funny, short but funny...and the animations look good too :)

Stew-Ped responds:

Actually you're right, I do kinda give a hoot, but just a little one. I do like how this is one of the few stick movies without killing. I'm glad you liked it.

Fabulous!

Man, this must've cost you some time to make, but the result is great! Especially knowing you did all of it with your tablet! I almost always start off with sketches on paper and about 99% of the time use the same (scanned) sketches as a blueprint for my digital characters. Seeing this I know I have to work on my tablet skills, I do have one, but rarely use it. Two thumbs up, keep it going!
